About me:
Aisling completed her BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy with PCI College and is a Fully Accredited member of IACP and adheres to their code of ethics and practice.
Aisling has a certificate in Child and Adolescent Counselling, and has attended training on Grief Counselling, Working with Complex Trauma and Family Therapy.
Aisling is available to work with adults and adolescents aged 16 and over for short or long term work.
Aisling works with all of her clients from a person-centred perspective, focusing on the lived experience and current challenges that each person brings to the therapy space and integrating a variety of therapeutic approaches. Aisling provides a confidential, non-judgmental and empathic space in which clients can feel listened to, seen and heard and facilitated to work towards their goals. Aisling's approach is grounded in the belief that the experience of every person is unique to them and so their therapy journey is too and that through compassionately approaching challenges and gently observing reactions, interactions and behaviour patterns, clients can decide on the way they want to be in the world, understand and consciously make choices, change if appropriate and come home to themselves.
