About me:

Luke McPhilemy is a fully-accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors & Psychotherapists of Ireland (APCP). He completed his honours bachelor's degree with the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ICHAS) in Counselling Skills & Psychotherapy Studies. He also holds a masters degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with ICHAS.

Luke has a vast experience supporting others in a counselling capacity. He has a natural passion for the unique perspective and experience of the client, and supporting them in finding relief from emotional and cognitive difficulties. His compassion and care towards others allows clients to feel a sense of safety to explore their thoughts and feelings, in a non-judgemental and confidential environment.

Luke uses an integrative approach depending on the individual's unique needs. He draws his therapeutic approaches from a number of modalities including, Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychoeducation, Psychodynamic Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy.
