Professional Background
Maria Plamada holds a Certificate in Problem Gambling Addiction(Level 8 on NFQ, June 2023) from MTU(Munster Technological University), Kerry, Ireland, a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy (July 2013) from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences, Limerick, Ireland. She also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Sociology (Social Research) from the University of Limerick (August 2011).
Her earlier academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Advocacy (June 2006) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences (June 2003), both awarded by the University of the West, Timisoara, Romania.
Maria is a pre-accredited member of the APCP (The Association of Professional
Counsellors and Psychotherapists).

Maria’s goal is to provide a safe, non-judgemental and supportive environment where clients can express and explore their emotions, feelings, difficulties and needs.
