About me:
Ronan is a qualified counsellor and is fully accredited with ACI. Ronan is based in Portlaoise and can work face-to-face or online. Ronan has a Degree in Addiction with Counselling, and an Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from ICHAS in Limerick. Ronan has also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Gambling Studies and Addiction Recovery. Ronan has experience with group and one to one therapy through practising in Cuan Mhuire treatment centre in Athy, and with SOSAD in Portlaoise. Ronan believes in the individuality and uniqueness of each person and tries to empower and guide the client to discover an effective and safe path to meaningful, positive change and recovery. Ronan is an integrative therapist who has recently completed his training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desentitisation and Reprocessing Therapy).
