About me:
MA, HDip, BA, Dip, Cert, CSSE, CSB, APCP, COSRT
Sheena is a fully accredited member of The Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP) and a student member of COSRT. She is currently pursuing a Higher Diploma in Clinical Sexology and Relationship Therapy at the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS). Her commitment to ongoing professional development ensures that she provides the highest standard of care.
Sheena offers a unique, integrative, and holistic approach to therapy, specializing in Gender, Sexual, and Relational Diversity (GSRD). Her work is informed by a deep understanding of neurodiversity, LGBTQI+ issues, and trauma- and shame-sensitive frameworks.
In therapy, Sheena provides a range of modalities tailored to individual needs, including Psychoeducation, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centred Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Therapy. Whether you are seeking short-term solutions or a long-term therapeutic relationship, Sheena adapts her approach to best support your goals.
Sheena is dedicated to creating a compassionate, safe, and nonjudgmental space where individuals and relationships can break free from societal pressures, cultural expectations, and religious dogma. She prides herself on being warm, empathetic, and professional, with a sense of humour that helps make even the most challenging topics easier to discuss. Her approach is one of acceptance, genuine curiosity, and openness—especially when addressing issues that are often considered taboo.
Through both personal and professional experience, Sheena understands how difficult it can be to seek support, and she is committed to making that process as comfortable as possible. At the heart of her work is the belief that everyone deserves to live a full, healthy life—one that fully embraces sex, sexuality, and sexual and reproductive health as essential aspects of a balanced existence.
"My goal is to help you embrace change, make empowered choices, set clear boundaries, and move in a direction that reflects your true values and desires. Let’s rewrite your life story in a way that truly honours who you are at your core."
